We hope you will buy our exclusive Purple Poppy, created to honour the many animals that have served and suffered in conflicts across the world. Still today, mules and donkeys are put to work on the frontline and countless innocent animals are killed, wounded or left abandoned, forgotten and malnourished. Every sale of our poppy goes towards improving animal health and welfare.

Why support us

Over the past three decades, Petplan Charitable Trust has worked with over 350 animal welfare charities, donating more than £5.5 million. Some of the charities we have supported work in extremely challenging, and often dangerous, conditions to bring aid to innocent animals caught up in human conflict. Examples include NOWZAD who work in Afghanistan and Ukraine, Save Haven For Donkeys whose small team operates the only mobile vet clinic in Gaza, and War Paws who provide shelter and care for the many hundreds of homeless and forgotten animals in Iraq. When the conflict in Ukraine began, the Trust acted quickly, donating £25,000 to the Blue Cross Ukraine Pet Welfare Fund. None of this would have been possible without the support of animal lovers like you.
