The awards presentation is a much-anticipated highlight of the ADCH (Association of Dogs and Cats Homes) conference, the UK’s largest animal welfare conference. Petplan Charitable Trust Chair, David Simpson (main image, second from left), was on hand to present the cheques to the winners.
The awards recognise the hard work and dedication put in by the teams and the individuals within the animal charity sector who have gone that extra mile to help rescue and rehome animals in need. See all the finalists, here.
“We were proud to see so many of our members recognised as finalists, and even prouder to celebrate the inspiring work being done across the sector,” says ADCH.
This year’s winners are:
• Team of the Year: Cotswolds Cats & Dogs Home
• Employee of the Year: Susie Hughes, RSPCA Manchester & Salford Branch
• Volunteer of the Year: Terri Dixon, Cats Protection

Thank you to Petplan UK for hosting such a well-organised and enjoyable evening — complete with fantastic food, entertainment, and well-deserved recognition for the people who make our sector so special.
